CALHOUN JOINS COLUMBUS COMMUNITY BANK (CCB)

Columbus Community Bank (IO) is pleased to announce the addition of Dennis Calhoun to its banking team. Mr. Calhoun will serve as Executive Vice President and Senior Loan Officer. With over 40 years experience in the banking industry in Muscogee County, Dennis brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the Columbus market which will benefit the bank in developing a strong customer base. His expertise further validates the bank’s commitment to provide outstanding personal service to its customers and provide exceptional products and services to meet the financial needs of our community.

During his previous tenure, Mr. Calhoun was President of Home Federal Savings & Loan, President of First Columbus Community Bank, and a local Chairman of the Board for SouthTrust Bank. He holds an undergraduate degree from Auburn University and a graduate degree from Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University . Dennis has served as President of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, the Kiwanis Club, and the South Columbus Boys Club. He has also served as Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Muscogee County Board of Education.

Mr. Calhoun joins the executive management team led by Bob Stranger, President and CEO; Gary Ledbetter, Senior VP and CFO; and Mike Tarleton, Senior VP of Commercial Lending. Collectively the team boasts over 100 years of banking experience.
